'Hats off to those who kept them on' was inspired by innovative ideologists who defied society’s supposed limitations. The article was written and illustrated for Array magazine, a student collaborative project during the third year of the B.Design (VisComm) degree at the University of Western Sydney. Inspired by problematic social issues caused by aggressive marketing strategies, Maverick aims to shatter false and superficial values instilled in teenagers by attempting to make the uncool, cool. The educational publication steers straight towards the unexpected to provide new experiences and change perspectives.
Alternative to conventional design seen in education publications, Maverick combines simple functionality with contextual aesthetics embodying a visual essence that attract the younger market. With content rich in innovation and showcasing some of the most experimental and ground-breaking projects from all around the world, Maverick aims to inspire, motivate and educate.

Break Free, is a poster for the ‘Poster’s for tomorrow’ competition in 2012 that addresses the issue of gender equality. The illustrations were used for the Burrow Zine, a zine produced as part of a student collaborative project during the fourth year of the B.Design (VisComm) degree at the University of Western Sydney. Using both traditional and digital methods of illustration, this A3 poster attempts to express frustration towards the controversial subject by making a contrasting reference to an age old proverbial principle ‘See no evil, hear no evil, speak no evil’.Drawing, Illustration, Print Design2012 -
